No less than 14 Paris Saint-Germain first-team players were away on national team duties during the October 2025 international break - here's how they got on!

LUCAS CHEVALIER / LUCAS HERNANDEZ - FRANCE

As FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying continues, France did the job at the Parc des Princes against Azerbaïdjan (3-0). In Iceland for their second match of the window, Les Bleus returned from Rekjavik with a point (2-2), that takes them ever closer to next year's World Cup finals in North America.

NUNO MENDES / VITINHA / GONÇALO RAMOS - PORTUGAL

Our Portuguese players enjoyed two home matches as they also looked to book their place in next year's World Cup. The Seleçcão snatched a late win over Ireland (1-0) in their first game, before conceding a late draw with Hungary (2-2). Nuno Mendes (who got an assist against Hungary), Vitinha and Gonçalo Ramos are still on track for a successful qualification campaign.

KHVICHA KVARASTKHELIA - GEORGIA

Georgia's hopes of qualifying for a first-ever FIFA World Cup received a blow in this window when they were beaten by European champions Spain (2-0) and Turkiye (4-1). Back from injury, Khvicha played both matches. Still in the running despite these two losses, Georgia must win their two remaining matches to have any chance of playing in Canada, Mexico and the USA next year.

ILLIA ZABARNYI - UKRAINE

In France's qualification group for the FIFA World Cup 2026, Ukraine kept their own hopes alive in this window with wins over Iceland (5-3) and Azerbaïdjan (2-1). Illia Zabarnyi played two full matches. Ukraine currently sit the in the play-off spot with two matches left to play in qualifying

ACHRAF HAKIMI - MOROCCO

Already qualified for next year's World Cup, Achraf Hakimi's Morocco recorded two more wins; in a friendly over Bahrein (1-0), and against Mali (1-0) in their final qualification match.

LUCAS BERALDO - BRAZIL

Lucas Beraldo and Brazil played two friendly matches in Asia during this window, with a win over Lee Kang-in's Korea Republic (5-0) and a loss to Japan (3-2). Our Parisian defender played a full 90 minutes against the Samurai Blue.

WILLIAN PACHO - ECUADOR

Like Brazil, Ecuador are already qualified and are now preparing for next year's World Cup finals. THey took on two of the three co-hosts in friendly matches, with draws against the USA (1-1) and Mexico (1-1). Our Rouge et Bleu Willian Pacho played two full games.

LEE KANG-IN - KOREA REPUBLIC

Lee Kang-in and Korea also played two friendly matches. After losing the first to Brazil (0-5), the Taeguk Warriors bounced back against Paraguay (2-0). In the starting line-up against the Seleção, Lee came off the bench against Paraguay, providing a great assist for his country's second goal.

MATVEY SAFONOV - RUSSIA

Russia played two friendly matches during this window, recording wins over Iran (2-1) and Bolivia (3-0). After playing against Iran, Paris' Matvey Safonov was released early from the squad and did not feature against the South American nation.

WARREN ZAÏRE-EMERY - FRANCE U21

Captain of the France U21 side, Warren Zaïre-Emery produced two excellent performances against the Faroe Islands (6-0) and Estonia (6-1), providing an assist in each. Gérald Baticle's side have made the perfect start to qualification for Euro U21 2027.

NOHAM KAMARA - FRANCE U20

Noham Kamara is still on track to reach the final of the U20 FIFA World Cup. Having started every game so far, the Titi provided a sublime assist against Norway in the quarter-finals (2-1). For the first time since 2013, Les Bleuets have reached the final 4 where they will take on Morocco for a place in the final.
