Lucas Beraldo began his career in 2016 with União Barbarense, then moved to XV de Piracicaba, before joining a third Brazilian club in 2020, São Paulo FC, where he continued his development. He quickly became a key player for the club’s U17 side, winning both the Copa do Brasil and the Supercopa at youth level.
The young defender made his professional debut on May 25, 2022, in a Copa Sudamericana match against Ayacucho FC of Peru.
That same month, Lucas Beraldo received his first call-up to the Brazil U20 team, playing three matches with the squad in 2022.
He made his first appearance in Brazil’s top flight on July 21, 2022, against SC Internacional. In 2023, at just 19 years old, he established himself in the São Paulo FC first team.
On January 1, 2024, he joined Paris Saint-Germain, signing a contract through June 2028. Just two days later, on January 3, he made his PSG debut in a Trophée des Champions win over Toulouse at the Parc des Princes (2–0).
