Biography

At the age of 4, Warren Zaïre-Emery began playing football in Aubervilliers. The Montreuil-born talent was quickly spotted by Paris Saint-Germain, where he stood out for his remarkable maturity and was consistently promoted to play in higher age groups.

At just 15 years old, the box-to-box midfielder became a regular starter for PSG’s U19s, even helping the team reach the Youth League Round of 16 by playing a decisive role twice against Club Brugge (3–2). These standout performances earned him a place in the first-team squad, even before his 16th birthday.

In 2022, Warren won the UEFA U17 European Championship with France, and was named the Player of the Tournament. He continued to impress with his composure and intelligence in training, leading to his first professional contract, signed on July 15, 2022, with the capital club. Just weeks later, he became the youngest player in PSG history to appear in an official match, coming on against Clermont at 16 years, 4 months and 29 days.

Warren Zaïre-Emery went on to break multiple age-related records — not only in Ligue 1, but also in the Champions League, where he became the youngest PSG player ever to start a knockout stage match, against Bayern Munich. In 2022–2023, he won his first Ligue 1 title, making 26 appearances at the age of 17.
