A few days later, several Parisian players made their mark on the European stage. Vitinha celebrated his 50th Champions League appearance for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2-0 victory over Liverpool at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of the quarter-finals. Scorer of the opening goal, Désiré Doué has now joined the top 10 Parisian goalscorers in the Champions League, with 10 goals to his name.

Meanwhile, Warren Zaïre-Emery continued to make history at a remarkably young age. Against the Reds, the Parisian youngster reached the milestone of 40 Champions League appearances at just 20 years and 31 days, becoming the youngest player to achieve this total, ahead of Jude Bellingham.

A week later at Anfield, Ousmane Dembélé secured another victory for Paris with a brace (0–2), becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer in the Champions League against English sides with six goals. As for Bradley Barcola, he provided the assist for the French international’s second goal, thereby joining the top 15 assist providers in the club’s history across all competitions, with 35 assists to his name.
