More than 26 000 professional footballers from 68 countries have voted with the results announced on 3 November on FIFPRO's digital platforms.
The FIFPRO World 11 finalists are the 26 players who received the most votes for their performances between 15 July 2024 and 3 August 2025, and have played at least 30 competitive games during that period. For the women's XI, the eligible period was between 11 August 2024 and 3 August 2025 and the nominees must have played at least 20 competitive games.
The goalkeeper, three defenders, the three midfielders and three forwards receiving the most votes will be included. The final place will go to the outfield player having received the most votes.
