Ten Parisians in the running for the UNFP awards!

Paris Saint-Germain will be well represented at the 2026 UNFP Awards, with no fewer than ten nominees. As is the case every spring, French professional football honours its key figures at this unmissable ceremony. The 34th edition will take place on 11th May at the Palais Brongniart, starting at 6.45 pm, and will be broadcast live on Ligue 1+ as well as on the UNFP’s YouTube channel.

A STRONG PARISIAN PRESENCE IN THE MEN'S CATEGORY

With the club well on its way to securing another domestic title, Paris Saint-Germain is unsurprisingly among the clubs with the most nominees in the major categories. Three Parisian players feature on the shortlist for the Ligue 1 Player of the Season award: Ousmane Dembélé, who won the award last season, Vitinha, and Nuno Mendes, who is making his debut among the finalists. They will be up against Mason Greenwood (Olympique de Marseille) and Florian Thauvin (RC Lens), amongst others.

On the touchline, Luis Enrique, who won the award in 2025, is once again among the nominees for the Best Coach award. In the youth category, Désiré Doué will be aiming to retain his title as Best Young Player, facing competition from the likes of João Neves and Warren Zaïre-Emery.

THE WOMEN'S TEAMS ARE ALSO IN THE SPOTLIGHT

The Parisian women’s side is not to be outdone. Anaïs Ebayilin has been nominated for the Young Player of the Year award, whilst Sakina Karchaoui and Romée Leuchter are among the contenders for the title of Best Player in the Arkema Première Ligue. This strong showing illustrates, once again, Paris Saint-Germain’s influence on the national scene.
