Before joining Paris Saint-Germain, Sakina Karchaoui already had an impressive résumé. Born in Salon-de-Provence, she began her career in the south of France, in Miramas, before joining Montpellier’s youth academy at the age of 13. Four years later, she signed her first professional contract.
After eight seasons with the Hérault club’s senior team, the left-back moved to Olympique Lyonnais, where she spent one year.
In 2021, the French international brought her experience in the French league and her top-level pedigree to the Paris Saint-Germain women’s squad, fresh off winning their first-ever league title.
