Paris Saint-Germain held a final training session on Saturday 28th June at the Kennesaw State University campus on the eve of their round of 16 FIFA Club World Cup 2025 match against Inter Miami CF.

Having arrived in Atlanta after their 2-0 win against Seattle Sounders FC in their 3rd and final match of the group stage, which meant qualifying in first place from group B, the Rouge et Bleu followed up with several days of hard work in Georgia. The mission is now on the Round of 16 clash against the Floridians, who finished in 2nd place in group A with 5 points, behind Palmeiras on goal difference but 3 points ahead of FC Porto and Al Ahly FC.

Parisian defender Lucas Hernandez had this to say about the match: "It's always special to play in stadiums like this. We're experiencing new things here, with matches against teams like Inter Miami, who we've never played before. This competition allows us to play teams from all over the world, which gives us the chance to gain more experience and to continue playing in different stadiums. We have to do what we know how to do, play our way and try and win the match. The squad is feeling good. We're all ready and happy to be here training all together. We're spending a lot of time together. We had a long season together and it's going well because the squad is feeling good. We're going to play this last 16 match with the intention of winning to continue our journey in this competition", he explained to PSG TV during the customary MD-1 live content.

A win would book the Parisians place in the quarter finals and capital club forward Désiré Doué and his team mates are preparing with determination: "We're feeling very good, we've been training well since the start of the week. We're coming off the back of a good performance, we have to continue in this way. We've prepared well and we're ready for Sunday. This competition is a really great experience. For a lot of us, we're discovering a new country. The conditions are different, whether it be in terms of the infrastructures or the climate, which are both very different to what we're used to. It's very good, we're gaining experience from these matches and new opponents. I'd never played against Botafogo before and on Sunday I'll be playing against Inter Miami. It's great to be able to play these teams and ago up against the rest of the world", the Rouge et Bleu no.14 added.

João Neves echoed his team mate: "It's a great experience, it's something different. It changes our habits. It's a great experience for us. The group is confident, we're ready for Sunday. We prepare for every match in the same way, as we have done since the start of the season. I think it'll be a good match, with a lot of quality and intensity, and we hope to win it!", the Portuguese international concluded.
