The Paris Saint-Germain coach, João Neves and Bradley Barcola spoke to PSG TV after the 4-0 victory over Inter Miami CF on Sunday 29 June in Atlanta, in the Round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.
LUIS ENRIQUE
“Of course I’m very pleased with my players’ performance. I think we started the match in the best possible way, with the right intensity. I believe the second half was a bit different because the score influenced it. These are very high quality players. In the end, we’re in the quarter-finals and we’re happy. It’ll be either a European club, Bayern Munich, or a Brazilian one, Flamengo. We’ll watch the match. At this stage of the competition, it will be difficult no matter who the opponent is. Now is the time to think about resting, we need to prepare well for the match, but we have the time to do so. We’re very happy.”
JOÃO NEVES
“It’s my first time, my first brace! So I’m really happy, even though for me, the most important thing is the victory. We don’t know our next opponent yet, but whether it’s Flamengo or Bayern Munich, it will be a great match. We hope to put in the best performance possible. I think it’s going to be a good game.”
BRADLEY BARCOLA
"This is my 100th appearance, I’m really happy to have reached this milestone here. On top of that, we won 4-0 and put in a very good performance. Everyone played well, so I can only be happy."
