Khvicha, many onlookers praised your performances in the semi-finals against Bayern Munich, but if you had to improve one thing about your game, what would it be?
"I think that every player can improve something, and that includes me. I'm always trying to progress, to score more goals and to get more assists, but for me, football isn't just about goals and assists; the way in which you help your team is more important. Sometimes, you can't score or get an assist, but you can give everything on the pitch to help your team to win. That's the most important thing for me. When I finish a game, I want to know that I gave 100% to my team and that I helped it to win."
You talk about helping your team. Why is it important to put the team ahead of individual glory?
"When I was starting out, I think I was more of an individual player than a team player, but I soon realised that you're nothing without your team. Not many players can win games on their own. I realised that when you have a good team where every player gives everything, the results follow."
The unity at PSG seems incredible now, and you can see it on the pitch.
"Yes, I think that it's one of the team's biggest strengths. We're happy to play together and are very close-knit, and we know that if we fight for each other and play our own brand of football, we can beat anyone."
You combine simplicity with energy and ambition, and you're often the difference maker for your team. What pushes you to reach a new level every day?
"When you play for PSG, you need to have ambition because there are a lot of players who would like to take your place. You need to show in every game that you deserve to wear this badge over your heart. I always try to do my best, and I want to win as many trophies and as many games as possible with this team."
You've scored seven goals in your last seven knockout matches, but when we look at you, you always seem very calm and relaxed. How do you do it?
"It's not as easy as it might seem because in the Champions League, all of the teams are big teams and are very hard to score against, but I have incredible teammates who provide me with chances where I just need to shoot and score. I'm proud to be able to score goals right now. I'm in good form, and I just try to do my job as well as possible, but I want to score even more."
How would you describe a Champions League night? In your head, what does a Champions League night look like?
"I think that every footballer's primary aim is to play in the Champions League. When you play in it and you hear that anthem, it just makes you happy. You know that you've done something big to get there and to hear that music, and when you know that you're about to play in a Champions League game, you need to prepare yourself because it's a huge occasion."
It's often said that defending a title is very hard. For you and your teammates, is it tricky?
"Yes, I think that it's really difficult, as we've already seen. We've had a lot of games where we had to fight until the end, and we've beaten a number of very strong teams. Of course it's difficult, but as I said, we've got a lot of quality. We have players who can do it all, so I think that we just need to believe in ourselves and to give everything in order to win this trophy."
