From pioneers to artists, from captains to goalscorers. From players who have made their mark on the Club’s history to those who have worn its colours with passion, they are all now looking in the same direction: towards this final against Arsenal.
And the message is clear: Paris are not alone.
“I don’t think there’s even any room for doubt anymore. You just have to have unwavering faith in the future - and, above all, in this team,” said Guillaume Hoarau, convinced by Parisians' track record.
Clément Chantôme, another Parisian youth academy product, was on the same page: “Winning back-to-back titles would be incredible. So of course we’re backing Paris and we all hope they go on and win it.”
The anticipation is huge - and so is the excitement. “We’re all waiting for this final,” said Javier Pastore. “We hope the players put in a great performance and are crowned champions once again.”
The football Paris have produced this season has impressed everyone, especially those who once wore the shirt themselves. “What they’re doing is magical,” enthused Jérémy Ménez. “They’re playing exceptional football. Every match is a pleasure to watch.”
This team wins hearts not only with its dazzling style of play but with its steely team spirit.
“I hope they win because they deserve it,” said Claude Makélélé, clearly on the same page as Amara Simba. “It’s a hugely anticipated match. Hopefully it goes Paris Saint-Germain’s way.”
“I’m very happy for them, for the entire PSG family,” said Mario Yepes, with Jay-Jay Okocha sharing the familial vibes: “My heart is completely Parisian. I wish them all the best and I hope they win it.”
“I hope they bring another trophy to Paris Saint-Germain,” said a Pedro Miguel Pauleta hoping his captial club can make even more history. “Winning a second Champions League would be hugely important. It would be magnificent.”
Because beyond a single match, beyond a single trophy, this side is building an incredible legacy.
“We wanted it, we got it last year. We need to keep it up,” recalls Ludovic Giuly.
And it was perhaps Nenê who captured the general feeling best of all with one final heartfelt message: “We’re very proud of the team. I hope they go and win a second one. We’re all behind them. Allez Paris!”
