Lucas Hernandez, Warren Zaïre-Emery, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembélé’s France secured a victory over Norway (4–1) on Friday 26 June 2026, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, as part of Matchday 3 of Group I in the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Starting the match, Ousmane Dembélé scored a historic hat-trick — his first for the French national team and the second-fastest hat-trick in the entire history of the World Cup. Also named in the starting XI, Désiré Doué played the full match and scored France’s fourth goal, while Bradley Barcola came on during the second half.
