After a tough start to the season and a change of coach, PFC have been transformed in recent weeks. Currently 11th in the table, the newly promoted Parisians have secured top-flight football for next season, and have lost just twice in their last 11 league games, winning 4-0 against Brest in their last home outing.
Paris Saint-Germain came back from Lens with three points (0-2) and a 14th league title. With nine points in hand on their closest challengers, Luis Enrique's men have again been impressive on the domestic front and will now hope to maintain momentum ahead of the Champions League final against Arsenal on 30 May with a derby win.
4 – Paris FC have won four of their last five home games in Ligue 1, scoring 12 times and conceding just four.
18 – Paris SG have 18 different Ligue 1 scorers this season, more than any other team, and could see 19 different players find the net in the same season for the first time in the club's history.
26 – The Red-and-Blues have not lost any of their last 26 matches against newly promoted sides in the league (21 wins).
In goal, former Paris coach Antoine Kombouaré should have a former Parisian, Kevin Trapp. The Germany international will be preferred again to France Under-21 international Obed Nkambadio. In front of him, Otávio could replace the suspended Moustapha Mbow with Diego Coppola, who joined on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion this winter, alongside him.
On the left, France U-21 international Nhoa Sangui is ahead of Thibault De Smet and Tuomas Ollila in the pecking order with the experienced Hamari Traoré on the opposite flank. The former Stade Rennais FC man has filled the gap left by the lengthy absence of Morocco international Sofiane Alakouch in that role. In midfield, Pierre Lees-Melou will play a pivotal role.
The PFC captain's understanding with the impressive Rudy Matondo will again be key for the hosts with the latter preferred to Marshall Munetsi, who joined on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers in January and already has four goals and two assists in the league. Former Marseille man Maxime Lopez, Vincent Marchetti and Adama Camara are likely to be options off the bench. In the playmaker role, Ilan Kebbal (9 goals, 4 assists in Ligue 1) will be the hosts' catalyst going forward.
The Algeria international should support Willem Geubbels (5 goals), who has been on form in recent weeks and should be preferred to Ciro Immobile (2 goals, 2 assists), who also arrived this winter. On the right, competition is fierce between Alimami Gory (3 goals, 2 assists) and another former Parisian, France international Jonathan Ikoné (3 goals, 1 assist). It's the same on the left where Moses Simon (3 goals, 3 assists) and Luca Koleosho (3 goals) are vying for a place in the starting XI. Kombouaré has options, but is still without forwards Jean-Philippe Krasso and Pierre-Yves Hamel.
