Désiré Doué: "We all worked together"

Respectively named Best Men’s Player, Best Midfielder and Best Emerging Player at the Globe Soccer Awards, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha and Désiré Doué spoke to PSGTV about their awards.
“I feel a lot of joy. It’s really great. It’s the final individual trophy of 2025, and it’s an honour to have received it. Paris Saint-Germain was well represented at this ceremony, and we are all happy to have received these awards. We hope to come back next year with even more trophies.”
“I feel really happy, it’s a magnificent trophy. It’s an individual award, but as I said, it comes from the great collective work we did this year. We all worked together and showed strong team spirit. We won six trophies. It’s a historic year and I’m very happy to receive this award tonight. I think it makes perfect sense when you look at the season we had. Whether in defence, midfield, attack, or with the goalkeepers, I think we were the best in every area, and that’s what led us to win all these titles. We’re very happy tonight and I’m especially happy for the president, the sporting director, and of course all my teammates who aren’t here, without whom we wouldn’t have been able to win all these trophies.”
“It means a lot. I think it’s deserved recognition. It’s an individual reward that comes after collective work, and I’m happy to receive this recognition. I have to keep helping the team. That’s how individual performances stand out. That’s my mindset, and being recognised as the best means a great deal to me. We have to keep going, keep thinking about the team and the trophies we can win as a team. 2025 was an extraordinary year for me as well.”
