Paris Saint-Germain continue to write history on the continental stage. The Club is now preparing for the third UEFA Champions League final in its history - a French record - following those of 2020 and last year.
The 6-4 aggregate win over Bayern means Paris are the first club to reach back-to-back finals since Liverpool in 2018 and 2019. Since 2020, no club has reached the final more times than the Red-and-Blues.
Once more, the Parisian forward played a leading role. After just two minutes and 19 seconds, he found the net to score the second-fastest goal in the club's Champions League knockout phase history. Only Blaise Matuidi - vs. Leverkusen in the 2013/14 Last 16 - has opened the scoring quicker.
With 10 knockout phase goals since the start of last season, the France international is second only to Bayern's Harry Kane (11) in that timeframe.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia continues to impress in Europe. With 16 goal involvements this season (10 goals, 6 assists), he has more than any other player in the competition, and is level with Bayern's Michael Olise and teammate Achraf Hakimi at the top of the assists chart.
Since the introduction of the Last 16 in 2003-2004, he has become the first player to be involved in a goal in seven successive knockout games in the same Champions league season.
Against Arsenal on 30 May, the Paris Saint-Germain coach will go into the third Champions League final of his career since making his debut in the competition in 2014-15. Only Jürgen Klopp and Zinedine Zidane can say the same over that timeframe, proving the Paris coach's consistency at the very highest level.
