Throughout this special day, numerous figures who have left their mark on the history of Paris Saint-Germain Women returned to the club in a unique setting. It was an opportunity for them to pass on their experience, share their memories and introduce younger generations to the legacy built up over the years.
Among the former players present for this gathering were Christine Aubère, Laetitia Duffour, Klaire Ficadiere, Laura Georges, Stéphanie Legrand, Gwendoline Nedjar, Annie Nottré and Irène Selbonne-Capoul.
Welcomed to the PSG Campus by Sabrina Delannoy, the player with the most caps in the Club’s history, following an introductory address from the sporting management, the former Parisiennes had a chance to explore the Club’s facilities during a guided tour. This immersive experience allowed them to appreciate how far the facilities and the Parisian project have developed, while sharing their first impressions and memories of their time at the club.
The Legends then watched the end of the senior women’s team’s training session before continuing the day’s festivities with lunch at the Campus.
One of the highlights of the event came in the afternoon during a discussion session organised with the young players from the youth academy. In the auditorium of the PSG Campus, the former Parisiennes shared their experiences, spoke about their careers, the challenges they faced at the highest level and the values that guided them throughout their careers.
Through this initiative, Paris Saint-Germain is continuing its commitment to strengthening ties between generations and passing on the Club’s identity, values and history on to young talents.
Because beyond performances on the pitch, the history of Paris Saint-Germain continues to be written thanks to those who built it. To date, more than fifty former Paris Saint-Germain players have been recognised in the club’s official Legends programme, with the aim of further expanding the number of representatives.
