In a hard-fought match (1-1), the French team featuring Sakina Karchaoui, Grace Geyoro, Elisa De Almeida, Griedge Mbock and Thiniba Samoura were knocked out by Germany in a penalty shootout (5-6).
Grace Geyoro scored the only French goal of the game from the penalty spot (1-0, 15’) and played 112 minutes. Sakina Karchaoui played the entire match, while Elisa De Almeida and Griedge Mbock were on the pitch for 112 and 85 respectively.
