After a shaky first quarter of an hour (15th minute: 5-9), Les Rouge et Bleu showed tremendous spirit to turn the game around after a timeout called by Stefan Madsen (23': 14-9). The Parisians' total domination demonstrated their mental strength in such an important match. With Nantes' having won the day before in Dunkirk (30-34), victory was essential for the capital club if they were to retain the top spot they have occupied since the start of the season.
With this 12th win in 12 games, Paris are now two points ahead of The H. This means they can approach December with optimism, despite facing some fierce opponents. To conclude the first half of the season, les Rouge et Bleu will take on three of the top five teams in the league, first travelling to Tremblay (fifth) on Saturday, then hosting Limoges (fourth) for their last home game of the year on 14 December, and finally travelling to second-placed Nantes on 18 December.
Our captain also reached a symbolic milestone on Sunday, scoring his 900th career goal in all competitions with Paris. A real achievement for our pivot, who is playing his 11th season in Rouge et Bleu.

It seems there is no stopping Mikkel Lovkvist. Against Chambéry, our Danish goalkeeper made more than ten saves for the fourth consecutive game. His 14 saves against the Savoyards put him in the top 10 on the saves chart (95). With 35.32% of shots saved in the league, the capital club's last line of defence ranks second in this category behind Rémi Desbonnet (36.09%), who has, however, played two fewer games than his Parisian counterpart.
Ferran Solé 's fine run of form against Chambéry continues. Last season, the right winger found the net 12 times against the Savoyards, setting his record for goals in a single match with Paris. On Sunday, the Spanish international had a perfect game, converting all six of his attempts and continuing his excellent form, one week after reaching the 500-goal mark in the league with the capital club.
As is so often the case, Elohim Prandi put on a show at Coubertin. With seven goals, the capital club's left-back recorded his second-best performance of the season in the league (after his ten-goal haul against Cesson-Rennes) and was named player of the match by the supporters.
