The month gets off to a flying start on 1 April, with an important trip to Veszprém in the first leg of the EHF Champions League play-off. The fixture kicks off at 18:45 in Hungary, and Les Rouge et Bleu will be keen to take the lead in the tie before the return leg. Unbeaten in 2026 and winners of three of their last four European matches, Stefan Madsen's men are in good form ahead of this trip.
The final sprint of the group phase has been trickier for the Hungarians, who have won just one game on the European stage this year. Faced with an opponent they have not beaten since 2017, the capital club will have to put up a great fight to win this double-header and join Berlin in the quarter-finals. The good news is that the return leg, scheduled for 20:45 on 9 April, will take place at Coubertin, where the players will be able to count on the support of the Parisian fans.
On the domestic front, Paris also have some important matches to negotiate, starting with a Coupe de France semi-final in Montpellier on 15 April at 8pm. The capital club have won their last two clashes with MHB, most recently a month ago at the Sud de France Arena (32-30). So the defending Coupe de France champions are now looking to take revenge on their Parisian rivals, whom they beat in the final a year ago.
Stefan Madsen's men have the chance to make it three wins in a row against Montpellier, with a view to meeting Nantes or Nîmes at the AccorArena on 23 May.
Les Rouge et Bleu also have four Liqui Moly StarLigue fixtures to attend to over the course of the month. As the end of the season draws ever closer, the battle with Nantes looks set to intensify. The Parisians still hold a two-point lead over their nearest pursuers. To at least maintain that lead, they will need to win two matches at Coubertin, against relegated Istres on 5 April at 16:00, and against Saint-Raphaël on 12 April at 17:00.
The capital club also have an away game on the cards, away to fourth-placed Limoges on 18 April at 19:00. This intense month comes to a close with a final trip to Cesson-Rennes on the weekend of 24 April. A busy few weeks lie ahead for our Parisians, with a number of decisive fixtures for the end of the season!
