Built in alignment with Paris Saint-Germain’s overall strategy, the CSR strategy aims to improve the Club’s global performance and foster change toward a more sustainable model. It is structured around 11 key issues, representing a complete team on the field, and is translated into precise and measurable commitments.
Incorporating the expectations of both internal and external stakeholders, Paris Saint-Germain’s CSR strategy is the result of a collaborative methodology and engages all of the Club’s teams in this ambitious approach.
As part of its CSR strategy, Paris Saint-Germain pays special attention to conducting its activities while limiting its impact on the climate.
Measuring greenhouse gas emissions through a carbon footprint assessment is the cornerstone of the Club’s climate action. It is essential to identify the main sources of emissions in order to control and reduce them.
The Club leads numerous projects to reduce its carbon footprint:
Improve the energy performance of infrastructures to reduce energy consumption
Promote sustainable mobility for fans, staff, and players
Offer sustainable food options with local and plant-based products
Raise awareness among employees, players, and fans about CSR: Climate Fresco workshops, Sustainable Development Week, CSR booth in the fan zone on match days, etc.
Key figures:
50% of fans coming to the Parc des Princes use low-carbon means of transportation (public transit, cycling, walking)
Energy consumption decreased by -15.9% for gas and -8.3% for electricity at the Parc des Princes between the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 seasons
Paris Saint-Germain strives to prevent and minimize its environmental and biodiversity impact resulting from its activities.
At the Parc des Princes, PSG has installed 5 beehives and a 250 m² educational vegetable garden, open to schoolchildren and local residents.
At the PSG Campus: 10 beehives, a 1-hectare organic vegetable garden cultivated by market gardeners for athletes’ and staff meals, and 2.5 hectares of orchards undergoing organic conversion. Youth academy players take part in weekly workshops on sustainable development.

Waste sorting and recycling are essential concerns for Paris Saint-Germain, as are reuse and waste reduction through extended product life and second-hand reuse.
To support this, the Club has implemented a waste management station at the Parc des Princes since 2022. After each match, the bins placed throughout the stadium are collected and manually sorted, which has significantly increased the share of recycled waste—reaching nearly 60% to date.
Paris Saint-Germain has also:
Implemented the collection of grass clippings and food waste to be converted into compost
Replaced disposable cups with eco-cups and plastic packaging with recyclable or reusable containers for catering
Created a concession stand for unsold items, offering food products at €1 to accredited personnel after matches
