The École ROUGE & BLEU is an innovative programme that combines physical and educational activities for children aged 7 to 11 who are facing social difficulties. Designed to complement ‘traditional’ schooling, its aim is to use sport to restore these children’s self-confidence, help them reconnect with learning, and instil in them the values essential for their success at school and in their daily lives.
Since its creation in 2016, nearly 1,300 children have successfully benefited from this programme each year. PSG for Communities is set to launch its third École ROUGE & BLEU at the Necker-Enfants Malades Hospital, a long-standing partner, to promote diversity and inclusion through sport. This programme would enable hospitalised children, who are often suffering from serious illnesses, to meet other children and thus develop a better mutual understanding, whilst fostering learning and solidarity. It is a unique experience that breaks down the barriers between the hospital and the city, thereby opening up new horizons for the children.
