Born in Nigrán, Spain, on 12 January 2008, Pedro Fernández, known as ‘Dro’, began playing football at the age of four with his hometown club ED Val Miñor Nigrán. He then joined FC Barcelona in 2022, where he continued his development for three seasons. Primarily a midfielder, he quickly stood out thanks to his technical ability, vision and capacity to operate between the lines.
During the 2024-2025 season, at just 16, Dro Fernández was promoted to Barcelona’s U19 team. He became one of the key figures in their 2025 UEFA Youth League triumph, contributing his creativity, precision in the final third and ability to drive forward. Domestically, he also helped secure the league (División de Honor) and Copa del Rey Juvenil double.
After scoring his first goal for the first team in summer 2025 in a friendly against Vissel Kobe, he made his professional debut a few months later. During the winter transfer window, he decided to take the next step in his career by joining Paris Saint-Germain. Within half a season, he won his first trophies, with the Champions League as the highlight, alongside the Ligue 1 title.
