It all started in January with a tie against second-tier LOSC and goals from Merveille Kanjinga and Florianne Jourde (2-0), which set the platform for their run to the final.
Paris, who have been in each of the last five finals, then held their nerve against Montpellier in the next round. At the PSG Campus, Romée Leuchter grabbed a hat-trick Jackie Groenen and Kanjinga helped round off an emphatic 5-0 win.
The quarter-finals brought the first away tie. Just four days after their long trip to Côte d'Ivoire for the LFFP Coupe final, Paulo César's team headed to Dijon. Despite the fatigue, they came through thanks to Jennifer Echegini, whose late goal in the second half came on the back of her opening goal late in the first (1-2).
Back at the PSG Campus for the semi-finals, there was a local derby to negotiate, and also an opportunity to avenge defeat in last season's final to Paris FC. After going behind early, they equalised through Anaïs Ebayilin 15 minutes in. Reduced to ten before the break, the Red-and-Blues dug deep and Leuchter provided a brilliant decisive touch.
Now heading into their sixth successive Coupe de France final, they will attempt to lift the trophy for a fifth time at the Stade du Hainaut in Valenciennes.
