Less than a week after their 2–0 victory at the Parc des Princes in the first leg against the Reds, most of the Parisian squad gathered at the Campus PSG on Monday morning, before heading to Roissy and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport shortly before 10am.
An hour later, having been reunited with the rest of the delegation, the Rouge et Bleu boarded their plane for take-off at around 11.15 am, with the flight lasting just over an hour.
Before midday local time, Paris Saint-Germain touched down on the banks of the Mersey. Luis Enrique and his players then headed to their hotel, which will serve as the capital club’s base until Tuesday evening’s match, before having lunch and enjoying a bit of rest. They will head to Anfield in the late afternoon.
The Spanish manager and vice-captain Achraf Hakimi will address the French, local and international media at the traditional pre-match press conference, held at the Reds’ home ground. Immediately afterwards, the Parisian squad will take to the pitch at the opposition’s ground, where they will hold a final training session ahead of Tuesday’s clash.
