Paris Saint-Germain is ending 2025 in a blaze of glory! Having already pulled off a historic quintuple by coming out on top in the Trophée des Champions, in Ligue 1, in the Coupe de France, in the UEFA Champions League and in the UEFA Super Cup this year, the capital club’s men’s team has just bagged itself a sixth trophy in 2025 – the most that it has ever managed in a calendar year – by emerging as (1-1, 2-1 on pens) winners from a intense match. This victory also takes Les Parisiens up to the symbolic milestone of 50 wins across all competitions in 2025, which is the highest such total ever recorded by the club.
Captain Marquinhos – who recently made his 500th appearance for Les Rouge et Bleu – and the entire team have now written their names even further into the club’s history books by winning this title, the 57th of all time for Les Parisiens, making them the most decorated French men’s side ever. In fact, since the arrival of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), Paris Saint-Germain’s men have claimed a total of 39 trophies.
This latest honour comes as a reward for the club’s solid and consistent on-field project, which has been based on youth and the squad as a whole. It also illustrates the strength of the bond that unites the team with its fans, who came to Doha to be with Les Rouge et Bleu and to share these big moments with them.
Paris Saint-Germain had already distinguished itself on the international stage a few hours earlier, as the capital club received several honours at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025, with The Best FIFA Men’s Player Award going to Ousmane Dembélé and The Best FIFA Men’s Coach Award going to Luis Enrique while Achraf Hakimi, Nuno Mendes, Willian Pacho, Vitinha and the aforementioned Dembélé were all named in The Best FIFA Men’s 11, thereby capping off a particularly successful visit to Qatar for Les Rouge et Bleu.
With this magnificent haul of seven titles, Luis Enrique and his players are rounding off 2025 in ideal fashion, although fresh challenges already await them on all fronts, be it in the Coupe de France this Saturday, in the UEFA Champions League, in Ligue 1 or in the Trophée des Champions next January. Either way, Paris Saint-Germain is continuing to write history – in capital letters, of course.
