Born in Vic, in the province of Barcelona, in May 2001, Arnau Tenas joined FC Barcelona's youth academy in 2010. The promising goalkeeper rose through the ranks to become a key player in Barça's reserve team, which he captained in his last season with the club. From the 2020-2021 season onwards, he was regularly called up to the professional squad.
Arnau Tenas arrived at Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in July 2023 and has been a regular in Luis Enrique's squad. In his first season, he played six Ligue 1 matches and won his first trophies in a Rouge & Bleu jersey: the French league and the Coupe de France. The goalkeeper also distinguished himself with the Spanish national team by winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Agile in the air and gifted with excellent distribution skills, the young goalkeeper defended the Parisian goal last season in the sixth round of the Coupe de France against Espaly (2-4), then in Ligue 1 against Montpellier (1-4). He added to his trophy haul with a treble: Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Champions League.
Paris Saint-Germain would like to thank Arnau and wish him every success in his future career.
