“This result was very important. The girls achieved it in fine style. They were very effective; I think they performed well in all phases of the game. The teamwork was excellent. In front of our supporters, it was another very positive performance, just like against Eintracht Frankfurt. I hope we can carry on with the same spirit they showed on the pitch today. I’m very satisfied and very proud of what the girls put in today.
"I know the girls have quality, both as a team and individually. Naomie had a very good match, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Sakina played out wide and had a very good match. Then there’s Isabela, Tara… I think the team worked together really well, and the performance in this match was almost perfect. I’m very pleased with what the team put in. They really deserved this victory.”
“The aim was to pick up all three points. That’s what we did tonight, and I think it's worth noting that we did it in style. It was important to put our game plan into action – the one we’ve been working on all week with the coach. I think we implemented it well, and that’s what earned us those three points today.
”Naomie was named player of the match, which makes me happy. She scored two goals and provided two assists; she deserves it. As a new signing, that’s what we want from her, and we can see what she brings to the team. We’ll need her and all the girls to go on and win more big matches with the club.”
