Marquinhos's Brazil through to last 32 with win over Scotland

A Brazil side captained by Paris Saint-Germain's Marquinhos beat Scotland 3–0 at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium last night on Matchday 3 in Group C at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Brazil's skipper was once again named in his side's starting XI at centre-back and played the entirety of the game, which saw the Seleção finish top of Group C and advance to the tournament's last-32 stage.
