He is, in fact, the second-highest assist provider in Ligue 1 since his arrival, behind Adrien Thomasson (26 assists).
As proof of his refusal to accept defeat, Ruiz holds the record for the most consecutive Ligue 1 matches without a single loss. The 2026 World Cup winner remained unbeaten in the French league between May 2023 and April 2025, a run of 51 consecutive matches (40 wins and 11 draws).
