Born on 27th March 2002 in Oslo, Østerås came through the ranks at Vålerenga Fotball, where she made her Norwegian top-flight debut at just 15 years old. In 2017, she made Toppserien history by becoming the league's youngest-ever goalscorer at just 15 years and 184 days old.
After spells with Kolbotn IL and Stabæk IF, where she established herself as one of the most consistent midfielders in the Toppserien, the Norwegian joined AIK Fotboll at the beginning of 2026. A versatile player capable of operating in several midfield roles, she has also represented Norway across all youth levels and has gradually established herself as a member of her country's U23 team, for which she has already made around a dozen appearances.
