Christophe, what are your thoughts on the game against Liverpool?
"This Paris Saint-Germain team made a strong impression against Chelsea and reassured me in a way. Especially in the second leg with the control on the pitch that they showed last season, and with the players who are back to their best and looking confident. It's always difficult to look ahead to a two-legged Champions League tie, there are so many factors to take into account."
How do you feel ahead of the game?
"They'll have to be very good in the first leg to lay down a marker in this tie, because it's never easy at Anfield. There was a crazy game there last season, but it's never easy for the away team. It's better to get a good result in the first leg to go into the second more calmly."
The support of the fans could be a decisive factor, couldn't it?
"They help all the time. The Parisian fans are their own brand. Opponents who host PSG and their fans look forward to seeing the supporters at work. There is a performance on the pitch and a performance in the stands that are on an equal footing. There is a sort of unity in every game: the supporters are always there to give the best of themselves, the players repay that on the pitch. It's an extra weapon, and all of Europe has been able to see that, particularly last year."
