Brazil beat Haiti with ease

Marquinhos’s Brazil secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Haiti on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, in their second group stage match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Following the 1-1 draw against Morocco on Matchday 1, the Seleção needed to pick up points against Haiti, who had themselves been beaten by Scotland in the previous game.
Led by captain Marquinhos, the Auriverde quickly took control of the match, with Cunha lying in wait to put his side ahead (1–0, 23'). He doubled the lead just over 10 minutes later, latching onto a through ball to leave Placide with no chance (2–0, 36'). The suspense was over right at the end of the first half, when Vinicius beat the opposition goalkeeper in a one-on-one situation to seal the result (3–0, 45'+3).
The score remained unchanged as the Brazilians secured victory and took a step towards qualification, though they still have a decisive match to play against the Scots on 25 June at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
