Trained at São Paulo FC, the young player was quickly recognised for her vision, technical quality and versatility. After a year at Santos, she joined Corinthians in 2024, where she rapidly climbed the ranks, establishing herself as an undisputed starter in her very first season.
Vitória Yaya first made her mark by winning the league and Copa Libertadores double in 2024 with Corinthians. Her performances earned her a place in the Team of the Season in Brazil as well as the award for Best Young Player. In her final season with the club, she featured in 29 matches across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 5 assists, while adding another Brazilian Championship title in 2025 to her record.
With the Seleção, Yaya has already earned 14 caps with the senior team, along with 40 youth-level appearances, including a standout performance at the 2022 U20 World Cup. She lifted the Copa América 2025.
