Born on 24 January 1991 in Cangas, Rodrigo Corrales developed in Barcelona’s academy. After making his professional debut in 2011, he continued his development on loan at Huesca for two seasons and then at Wisła Płock.
Initially on loan, he joined the Polish club permanently in 2017. He stayed for just one season before signing a three-year deal with Paris Saint-Germain the following summer. Alongside Thierry Omeyer, he formed a formidable goalkeeping partnership and helped the capital club consolidate its domestic dominance while competing strongly on the European stage.
Named the league’s best goalkeeper in 2020, he moved to Hungary to join Veszprém, adding several domestic honours to his record. Six years after leaving, Rodrigo returned to the capital club in the summer of 2026, determined to resume the story he had begun almost a decade earlier.
