Luka Karabatic played tennis at a high level during his teenage years. He chose handball at the age of 19, when he joined the Montpellier youth academy before turning pro and winning 14 titles with the MHB. After three seasons in Aix, he moved to Paris at the same time as his brother Nikola, in the summer of 2015.
Twice named best defender in the Champions League, the new Paris captain added 11 trophies to his list of honours with the club from the capital.
With France, he was European champion in 2014, world champion in 2015 and 2017 and Olympic champion in 2021. Luka Karabatic is Paris’ captain.
