Biography

The native of Koumac didn’t make the long journey from New Caledonia for nothing! Son of Alice Dubois, a four-time finalist at the Paris Grand Slam, and Fabrice Mathieu, a national medalist in the 1990s, the -90kg judoka has racked up podium finishes at the French U21 and senior championships, culminating in a national title in 2021, before shining internationally by reaching the final of the 2022 Masters. His sights are now set on medals at major championships in this new Olympic cycle.
