In seven days, Luis Enrique and his squad will be in Budapest hoping to retain their European crown. As that deadline approaches, the squad gathered on Saturday morning for a high-intensity match between two teams of 11 players.
The match was played in conditions similar to a competitive fixture, with 1,000 Ultras supporters in the stands cheering on both teams. They sang throughout the entire session and also paid tribute to the club’s young academy players with a banner in their honuor, one day after their heroic victory in the Coupe Gambardella final.
Several players from the club’s academy were also involved in the match, including Thomas Cordier, Yanis Khafi, Abdou Fanné-Dramé and Rayan Abo El Nay. At the end of the session, the Ultras and 159 children from PSG for Communities, who had also been invited by President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi to show their support for the squad, were able to spend time interacting with the players.
The players made sure to thank them for their support throughout the season, and they handed out their jerseys and footballs to share a special moment with the supporters during this final stretch of the campaign.
