hours ahead of the Trophée des Champions 2025 and a Classique against the old enemy Olympique de Marseille, this Thursday 8 January at 19:00 CET (21:00 local time) at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium.
Two days after the 2-1 derby win over Paris FC on Matchday 17 of Ligue 1, and after enjoying a rare day off, Les Rouge et Bleu met up on Tuesday morning at Campus PSG for a first training session of the week, where the sun was shining brightly, but the temperature was a freezing -3°C.
Marquinhos and Co. then had lunch at the training centre in Poissy before heading to the Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle around 14:00 CET. Around 30 minutes later, having joined up with the rest of the travelling delegation, the squad boarded their plane for a take-off shortly after 16:00 CET and the five-hour flight to Kuwait.
Around 23:00 local time, (21:00 in France), Paris Saint-Germain touched down in Kuwait City and received a warm welcome from their hosts. Luis Enrique and his players then headed to their hotel before dining and retiring to their rooms for the evening.
On Wednesday, the Spanish coach and his players will front up to the traditional pre-match press conference comprising French, local and international media at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium. Les Rouge et Bleu will then train on the pitch at the 60,000-seater stadium before the match against Marseille the following day.
