Having grown up in the French capital, Samoura came through Paris FC’s academy before signing her first professional contract at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023. Since then, the centre-back has continued to improve at the highest level of the women’s game; with 76 appearances, one goal and four assists to her name across all competitions, the young French international has gradually established herself as a key component of the Paris squad.
On the international stage, Samoura represented France’s U16s, U19s, U20s and U23s before receiving her first senior call-up in December 2023. Since making her debut for Les Bleues against the Republic of Ireland in July 2024, she has racked up 16 caps and taken part in two UEFA Women’s Nations League campaigns, which respectively ended in a second-place finish in 2024 and a third-place finish in 2025.
“I’m really proud to be extending my stay at Paris Saint-Germain. The last few seasons have helped me to reach several milestones and to improve at the highest level, and I can’t wait to keep growing with this team and to keep giving everything for Les Rouge et Bleu.”
Paris Saint-Germain would like to congratulate Thiniba on her contract extension and to wish her all the best for her future at the club.
