Tottenham will become the 227th different competitive opponent of Paris Saint-Germain since 1970. The London club follows Botafogo, Seattle Sounders and Inter Miami as recent additions to that list.

Against Tottenham, Les Parisiens will be competing in their 293rd European fixture, having already turned out 172 times in the UEFA Champions League, 72 times in the UEFA Europa League, 38 times in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, eight times in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and twice in the UEFA Super Cup itself. As a result, Paris Saint-Germain will set a new record for the most European appearances made by a single French men’s team, thereby overtaking Olympique Lyonnais’s total of 292 matches (148 in the UCL, 114 in the UEL, 22 in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and eight in the UEFA Intertoto Cup).
