Check out the key numbers ahead of the 2025 UEFA Super Cup match between Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur, which kicks off at 21:00 CET tonight at Udine's Stadio Friuli.

Tottenham will become Les Parisiens' eighth different English opponent, following in the footsteps of Arsenal, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United. In fact, England is second only to Spain (10 clubs) but ahead of Germany and Italy (seven clubs each) in terms of the number of teams from that country to have faced Paris in the past.

This will be Paris's 39th match against English opposition, following on from the team's seven games against Arsenal, its two games against Aston Villa, its nine games against Chelsea, its six games against Liverpool, its eight games against Manchester City, its four games against Manchester United and its two games against Newcastle United. The capital club's record from these fixtures stands at 13 wins, nine draws and 16 defeats.

Tottenham will become the 227th different competitive opponent of Paris Saint-Germain since 1970. The London club follows Botafogo, Seattle Sounders and Inter Miami as recent additions to that list.

Against Tottenham, Les Parisiens will be competing in their 293rd European fixture, having already turned out 172 times in the UEFA Champions League, 72 times in the UEFA Europa League, 38 times in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, eight times in the UEFA Intertoto Cup and twice in the UEFA Super Cup itself. As a result, Paris Saint-Germain will set a new record for the most European appearances made by a single French men’s team, thereby overtaking Olympique Lyonnais’s total of 292 matches (148 in the UCL, 114 in the UEL, 22 in the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup and eight in the UEFA Intertoto Cup).
