Stefan Madsen: "A second half we can be proud of"

Handball
Check out what Stefan Madsen and Sebastian Karlsson had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's 39-30 victory over Dunkerque in their third pre-season friendly.

Stefan Madsen (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):

"I think it's pretty obvious that we didn't play with the same intensity in the first and second halves. We didn't perform as well as we'd hoped in the first half. That's not how we want to look as a team. The most important thing is that the players have a lot of respect for the work we're doing. They delivered a second half we can be proud of. I think we saw a lot of good sequences, but we can still improve. We're still getting to know each other, and it's only the beginning of the season. We'll find solutions as we go along, but I'm already very happy that we managed to turn the situation around."

Sebastian Karlsson (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right winger):

"We were better in the second half. We managed to put in more energy and aggression. There are still a lot of things to work on, but it's satisfying to have won by a comfortable margin. Now we're looking forward to going to Japan to continue our preparations."
