“They're a team with lots of young players who played with great courage, but also with pace. It was a challenge for us; we worked hard, and I’m pleased with what we’ve achieved here. We can still do better, but it’s the start of the season, so that’s to be expected. We’ve had no injuries, which is important. Next week will be really important for us, with the other matches coming up. I’m very pleased with this tour of Japan; even though not everything is perfect yet, we’ve found answers to some of our questions.”
“It was a tough match. They wanted to set a fast pace and play with a lot of intensity; I think we used our physicality to the best of our ability to counter them. I’m happy with this tour; I love this country. It was a bit different from last year, but everything went well between the matches and training sessions, so that’s good.”
