“I’m really pleased today. Once again, I saw a team with a great spirit. We’ve got a lot of matches to play this season, and we need all the players to get some playing time. I was very pleased with the individual performances of some players who have had less playing time so far. Sometimes it’s better to play matches back-to-back to keep up the rhythm, but it’s also nice to have a week to prepare. It won’t be easy against Limoges, but we’ll recover and we’ll be ready.”
“I think we controlled the match perfectly. Towards the end of the first half, Chartres narrowed our lead, but after that we were more clinical. We enjoyed ourselves and everyone got a chance to play, so I’m pleased with how the match went. We’re ready for whatever comes next; we’ll make the most of this week to train, as the matches will soon be coming thick and fast again every three days.”
