UP THE YOUNGSTERS!
Quentin Ndjantou scored his first professional goal for Paris Saint-Germain in Metz. But this goal could take on a much greater significance... Ndjantou scored from a pass by Mbaye, for whom he himself had provided the assist against Rennes!
Paris Saint-Germain have scored three goals in Ligue 1 in 2025 where both the scorer and the assist provider were products of the academy (including Mayulu from an assist by Zaïre-Emery against Montpellier in May), as many as in the previous 20 years combined.
Mbaye has been involved in three goals in his last two Ligue 1 matches (1 goal, 2 assists), one more than in his first 21 (1 goal, 1 assist).
2025, A VINTAGE YEAR
The end of the calendar year is approaching, Paris have played their last league match of 2025 and secured victory. As we await the other results of the weekend, PSG are in the lead, and if it remains so, the honorary title of autumn champion is within reach.
Paris have also won their 49th match in all competitions in 2025 (7 draws and 9 defeats), their highest total in a calendar year (48 in 2017). Finally, the capital club have won five of their last six Ligue 1 matches (1 defeat), after winning only two of the previous six (3 draws, 1 defeat).
STARTERS, SUBSTITUTES, ONE TEAM
Paris Saint-Germain have scored seven goals through players who have come on as substitutes in Ligue 1 this season. Both of Désiré Doué's last two goals in the top flight came as a substitute, compared to none of his first six for PSG.
Finally, Gonçalo Ramos scored his sixth headed goal in Ligue 1 since arriving in Paris in the summer of 2023, more than any other player in the top flight during that period.
