After their strong run in the league phase, our youngsters faced Dinamo Minsk of Belarus on Wednesday, coming from the national champions path, in a single-match Round of 32 tie. Despite the cold, the sun was shining over the Campus, and the young Rouge et Bleu were determined to avoid any traps while putting in a strong performance in front of their supporters. From the opening minutes, the club from the capital showed promise, creating several clear-cut chances.
That dominance was soon rewarded, as Thomas Cordier finished a superb flick from a cross by Zayon Chtai Telamio (1–0, 18'). Far from easing off, the Parisians continued to control possession and scored a second excellent goal, with Pierre Mounguengue producing a brilliant solo effort inside the penalty area (2–0, 28' ). Allowing the visitors very little, our Titis warmed up the stands with an almost perfect first half, before confirming their superiority in the second.
Coming back with better intentions, the Belarusians tried to put the Parisians under pressure after the break, but failed to create any real chances. On the counter-attack, the ruthless Titis won a penalty to extend their lead. Mission accomplished, with a perfect low cross-shot from Adam Ayari (3–0, 60'). Three minutes later, Mounguengue grabbed his second goal with a strike from the edge of the box, further confirming his team’s dominance (4–0, 63').
In full control, Jean-François Vulliez’s young side outclassed their opponents in style. The visitors pushed slightly late in the second half, but never managed to find the breakthrough. On to the Round of 16!
Thanks to this impressive victory over Minsk, the Espoirs will compete in the UEFA Youth League Round of 16, scheduled for 24 and 25 February 2026. Les Parisiens will have to wait for the draw, which will take place in Nyon on Friday 6 February at 13:00, to learn their next opponent.
