The Spurs and PSG hosted an executive learning session for their leadership teams, followed by the second iteration of Spurs Community Leadership Institute (SCLI) Paris, serving a diverse group of French women leaders in sport. This transformative collaboration is the result of the deep relationship that has grown between the two clubs, both known as leaders in the globalization of sport, which tipped off in 2025 with the Spurs competing in the NBA Paris Games.
“From day one, our relationship with Paris-Saint Germain has been driven by innovative thinking, collaborative conversations and a shared commitment to community impact,” said Patricia Mejia, chief impact & inclusion officer for the San Antonio Spurs. “Through innovative initiatives like these, in collaboration with highly regarded organizations like PSG, the Spurs will continue to build lasting relationships in France and inspire the next generation of leaders and changemakers in the global sports industry.”
“This collaboration with the San Antonio Spurs reflects Paris Saint-Germain’s ambition, to be a global platform for innovation, leadership and positive impact,” said React Fabien Allègre. “By bringing our teams together and investing in the development of women leaders in sport, we are strengthening meaningful connections between Paris and San Antonio while reinforcing our shared belief that sport has the power to inspire, empower and drive lasting social change.”
The collaboration includes several initiatives designed to bring great minds together and celebrate the role of sports in driving social change:
Spurs x PSG Executive Learning Session
Members of the Spurs and PSG leadership teams came together to participate in a transformative leadership development program consisting of expert panels and hands-on workshops. Participants were invited to share their ideas, challenges and learnings on topics such as brand growth, community impact, sports technology and more. This effort gave members of the Spurs and PSG front offices the chance to have meaningful conversations and team up with their industry cohorts to problem-solve for common challenges facing the global sports community.
Spurs Community Leadership Institute – Women in Sports, Paris: Part 2
The Spurs Community Leadership Institute, a global collective impact initiative focusing on developing the next generation of transformative leaders, is returning to Paris to once again host a one-day leadership summit in partnership with Paris Saint-Germain. Following the positive reception from women in the Paris sports community who participated in the 2025 iteration, the program will again engage 50 women leaders in sports, government officials and community. The experience will be centered on advancing women in sports, leadership development and leveraging sports as a catalyst for social impact.
This effort reflects the shared commitment of both the Spurs and PSG to belonging and social impact. The Spurs Community Leadership Institute is a flagship program of Spurs impact initiatives and has served countless individuals across the globe in fostering leadership and addressing diverse community needs since its 2022 launch. In addition to partnering on last year’s SCLI Women in Sports, Paris, PSG is recognized for its own programs supporting women in sports such as like "Allez les Filles!" which has positively impacted over 550 young girls. Together, these efforts represent the transformative opportunities that the sports industry offers for individuals seeking to drive change and uplift their communities.
