“It was an almost perfect evening. We lost our concentration for a few minutes in the second half, but we played very well. I’m very proud and pleased with how things went today. I have a lot of respect for the players, the coaching staff, the physios and the fitness coach. We’ve played a lot of matches without any injuries, which shows that we’ve struck a good balance and have a good training workload.”
“It was a tougher match than the score might suggest. We had a difficult start with Mikkel taking a knock. Defensively, we were good and solid. In the first half, we managed to build up a slight lead. In the second half, we really enjoyed ourselves. We have a lot of respect for Montpellier, and winning by ten goals at home with a very good performance before the winter break is brilliant. It’s been a good first half of the season. We’ve won the Trophée des Champions and qualified for the next round of the Champions League, taking three points with us. We want to stay at the top of the table and keep our unbeaten run going. We’re well aware that things are going to get even tougher from here on. We’ll need to work hard, but we must also keep up the same spirit.”
