PSG for Communities helps 2,000 young people prepare for the job market through the 12th edition of the Cantine solidaire

On Saturday, June 13th, at the Parc des Princes, PSG For Communities hosted the 12th edition of the Cantine Solidaire, in partnership with student associations Linkee and Studhelp, and with the support of the Carrefour Foundation, the initiative’s main patron. On this occasion, 2,000 students facing financial hardship benefited from the traditional distribution of food products and, new to this year’s edition, from comprehensive and practical support designed to facilitate their entry into the job market.

Comprehensive Support Towards Employment

For the 12th edition of the Cantine Solidaire, the second to be held this season, the Parc des Princes was transformed into a dedicated employability forum. The objective was to help remove barriers to employment and provide students with the tools and confidence needed to successfully enter the job market.

The 2,000 beneficiaries had access to a range of initiatives designed to boost their confidence, strengthen their interpersonal skills and help them better understand the expectations of the professional world. To achieve this, Paris Saint-Germain mobilised its network of partners and staff to offer personalised guidance, networking opportunities and practical workshops focused on careers and recruitment.

Among the initiatives available:

A donation of professional attire, coordinated by La Mode Européenne, enabling each student to leave with several interview-ready outfits, including suits, business wear, shoes, bags, briefcases and accessories.
Personal branding and interview preparation support provided by La Cravate Solidaire. Students who wish to do so will be able to continue benefiting from this support through a comprehensive follow-up programme after the event.
A professional photo studio run by Paris Saint-Germain photographers, allowing participants to receive free professional headshots for their CVs and LinkedIn profiles.
The free creation of digital business cards through Match Your Talents.

Through this 12th edition of the Cantine Solidaire, PSG For Communities reaffirms its commitment to listening to the needs of the younger generation and helping them build their autonomy and capacity to take action. Since the launch of the Cantine Solidaire in 2021, 17,000 students have received tangible support through food supplies and essential everyday products. We wanted to expand our support to address other key challenges facing young people, particularly professional integration. By leveraging our network of partners and non-profit organizations, we aim to provide practical advice and networking opportunities to help them successfully enter the world of work.

Meaningful Connections with the Professional World

Several companies and organisations took part in the event, sharing their expertise and supporting students in their journey towards employment:

Deloitte Foundation: one-to-one meetings and discussions with professionals from a wide range of sectors and professions.
Bouygues Bâtiment Île-de-France: practical advice, CV support and mock interview sessions.
Paris Saint-Germain Human Resources Department: interactive workshops focused on soft skills, public speaking, professional presence and how to effectively showcase one's experience and achievements.
APEC: group workshops on employability, LinkedIn profile development and dedicated support for international students.

Essential Food Support for Students Facing Financial Hardship

Remaining true to its original mission, the Cantine Solidaire also provided food assistance to students experiencing financial difficulties. The food distribution was funded by the Carrefour Foundation, in collaboration with student associations Linkee and Studhelp.

In total, 11 tonnes of food products were distributed—equivalent to an average of 5 kilograms per student—thanks to the generosity of the Carrefour Foundation. Food service company Prêt A Manger also donated 2,000 bottles to beneficiaries.

The Carrefour Foundation also shared its expertise in balanced nutrition through practical advice and affordable recipe ideas tailored to students.

Today, the student community is facing growing hardship in many forms: food insecurity, but also material and social deprivation, all of which have a significant impact on the quality of their studies. To effectively support this population, the Carrefour Foundation has been helping since 2020 to develop and expand dedicated support initiatives such as Studhelp and Linkee, which, beyond providing food assistance, also work to combat the social isolation experienced by these young people. Our commitment alongside PSG For Communities through the Cantine Solidaire project is a concrete example of our determination to act collectively in support of future generations.

Celebrating Good Food and the Parisian Art of Living

As an extension of this day of solidarity, PSG For Communities invited 35 students facing severe financial hardship to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience at the Skybar of the Parc des Princes.

The participants shared a meal prepared by the chefs of the Rue du Goût Perdu collective, winner of the 2026 PSG For Communities Time Out Food & Drink Award. The menu celebrated gastronomy and the pleasure of good food—two hallmarks of the Parisian art of living.
