Élise Bussaglia, a former Paris Saint-Germain player returning to the Club
A former Paris Saint-Germain player and an iconic figure in French football, Élise Bussaglia earned 192 caps for the French national team, representing Les Bleues at four UEFA European Championships, three FIFA World Cups and two Olympic Games. During her playing career, she represented several of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, VfL Wolfsburg and FC Barcelona.
Following her retirement as a player, Élise Bussaglia moved into coaching. After spells at Dijon FCO and as head coach of OCPAM’s women’s first team, she took charge of the CS Sedan Ardennes men’s first team in the summer of 2024. After securing promotion to Régional 1 in her first season, she became, in 2025, the active female coach working at the highest level of men’s football in France.
Holder of a UEFA A Licence and a DESJEPS Football coaching qualification, her appointment reflects Paris Saint-Germain’s commitment to strengthening its sporting staff and raising standards in order to support the individual and collective development of its players.
Sébastien Moncé’s expertise to support the Club’s goalkeepers
Sébastien Moncé joins Paris Saint-Germain with extensive experience in goalkeeper development, both at academy level and within professional first teams.
He arrives from Le Mans FC, where he had served since 2024 as assistant coach in charge of the professional team’s goalkeepers, contributing to the Club’s two consecutive promotions, from the Championnat National to Ligue 2 and then from Ligue 2 to Ligue 1. Previously, after spending thirteen seasons within the academies of Stade Lavallois and SM Caen, he took charge of Stade Mayennais’ first team in Régional 1 as head coach, before joining SO Cholet (Championnat National) as assistant coach in charge of the professional team’s goalkeepers.
Holder of the Brevet d’Entraîneur de Football (UEFA A Licence) and the Certificat d’Entraîneur des Gardiens de But (UEFA Goalkeeper A and B Licences), his appointment brings specific expertise in goalkeeper development, in line with the Club’s sporting ambitions.
Angelo Castellazzi, Sporting Director of Paris Saint-Germain’s women’s section:
“We are very pleased to welcome Élise Bussaglia and Sébastien Moncé to our staff. Their respective backgrounds and expertise will be valuable assets in supporting our sporting project. These appointments reflect our determination to continually strengthen our staff in order to provide our players with the best possible conditions to perform and to continue developing our women’s section with ambition.”
