Paris Saint-Germain Handball unveils its pre-season schedule

Paris Saint-Germain Handball will officially return to training on Wednesday 22 July 2026, marking the start of preparations for the 2026–2027 season.
The squad will begin pre-season with a week dedicated to medical examinations, physical assessments and the first on-court training sessions. Under the guidance of head coach Stefan Madsen and assistant coach Henrik Møllgaard, the Rouge et Bleu will alternate between handball practice and physical conditioning before departing for Japan.
For the fourth consecutive year, Paris Saint-Germain Handball will travel to Japan for its annual summer tour, taking place from Tuesday 28 July to Wednesday 5 August. Based in Tokyo, the team will train at the Zeekstar Tokyo Training Center and will play two friendly matches: against Zeekstar Tokyo on Tuesday 4 August, followed by Japan's U23 National Team on Wednesday 5 August.
The Rouge et Bleu will then head to Germany to compete in the HSG Premium Cup in Nordhorn on 15 and 16 August, a prestigious tournament featuring FC Barcelona, Füchse Berlin and hosts HSG Nordhorn-Lingen. Paris Saint-Germain will begin the competition against Füchse Berlin in the semi-finals on Saturday 15 August, with the final and third-place match taking place the following day from 2:30pm.
The team will conclude its pre-season campaign in Denmark with two final friendly fixtures: away to Skjern on 18 August and Aalborg on 21 August.
The reigning French champions will officially kick off the 2026–2027 season with the Trophée des Champions, where they will face Montpellier Handball on Saturday 29 August at the Arena du Pays d'Aix. A first major showdown to launch the new campaign.
Supporters will be able to follow a large part of the team's pre-season live on PSG TV. Both matches of the Japan Tour, as well as Paris Saint-Germain's HSG Premium Cup fixtures in Germany, will be streamed live on the Club's official platform.
